Hooray For Starbucks
Hooray For Starbucks
A great convenience for folks coming in to rob the place, or for those that could
use a little extra leverage when they just don't feel like paying for an over priced
cup of joe.
They are trying to stay out of it, but I bet they will cave to the liberal gun haters, or at least allow the store manager to decide on the issue.
I am betting that gun haters that go to Starbucks far out number people who would go somewhere else if carried guns were banned from the stores.
Every Sunday I visit the local Starbucks around 7:30 AM on the way to church and 99% of the time there is 3 or 4 County Deputies having their break. I wonder what their reaction would be if I walked in there with a sidearm showing? Would be interesting to try.
I agree, it would be interesting. Please report in Monday morning and tell us how it went.

Around here, "concealed carry" means just that: C-O-N-C-E-A-L-E-D
You would never, ever know I was packin', bheiting, so you could sip your java in blissful ignorance and peace. The only time it breaks cover is when I am at the range or taking it off at home to still keep near at hand. With any luck, it will always be so.
But I AM prepared if my luck should go very bad thanks to a very bad guy with a weapon of his own.
Who knows, bheiting, I would possibly even consider using it to save your life if it were sincerely and wrongly put in peril while we sat innocently drinking our joe at Starbucks.
But that's a real lose-lose situation: The bad guy's relatives will sue because I did not let him kill someone, namely me, with his 9mm while trying to rob a coffee house; and any anti-gun fanatic who's life was also possibly saved would sue for whatever they thought they could just 'cause they seem to hate life in general and I ruined their chance to be a martyr for their cause. Whatever that is.
The four greatest things I used to like about Texas (I don't think they all survived the times): Open gun racks (no cases) in pickups. Open containers. No state income tax. And you don't have to wait and be a victim (shot first) to defend yourself. I'm pretty sure the first three are historical footnotes now.
And if they would support our troops too
And Starbuts still leaves a bad tastes in my mouth from their refusal to even acknowledge our troops in Iraq and Afganistan. They refused to ship anything to them donated/bought or otherwise. Because "We dont agree with the war in Iraq". Starbuts can kiss my*** .
