Horn Chirp

Just did some work on a friend's 04 dually. The battery voltage dropped due to the key was left in the accessory position too long. (Charged the batteries. )Now the truck's horn goes on momentarily (chirp) about once every hour.

Doors locked, windows closed and the alarm set. Any ideas.

Could not find any codes with the DRB 3

humm. could be a bad battery connection, or something to do with low voltage to the BCM? kind of like a cell phone beeping that it is low on power??? then again i just might be crazy

Not likely but what are the chances it is because the remote entry / alarm remote battery is going dead? Like I said, not likely, just throwin' it out there.

How about disconnecting both batteries for a half hour and hook backup. "cold boot"

id also check to make sure both batterys are fully charged befor re connecting.
