This morning when I rolled out of my garage, right turn slight down hill, the horn blew twice. I thought I may have accidentally hit the button. This afternoon, while doing the exact same move, it did it again, my hand was no where near the buttons. Now, my Air Bag light has been on for about a month now, do you think these 2 things are related? For the time being I have removed the horn relay, just in case the 2 beeps turn to a stuck horn.

I think you have a broken clockspring. I had mine replaced recently because the air bag light was staying on. My understanding is that the air bag is disabled if the light is on.

My 97 would occasionally just start blowing the horn, sometimes just sitting in the driveway with nobody around. One of the horn buttons was sticking - I cleaned them both last summer and haven't had any problem since.

Yeah, I'm thinking it's the clock spring too, but I'll try everything else first. Thank goodness I got my yearly safety check last month so I don't really need the horn immediately (I got my air horn for special times). Clock spring replacement-easy? Hard? No prob? or Don't even attempt?
