Whitehorse RV..............BAD!

Back from long trip out west

I looked at them a few years back, but then we built a house, so my money went there.

As Crazy Horse said, they are heavy, I spoke to a guy one day that had the double slide version. The actual weight was 800 pounds more than what the sticker read. He went to the scales before picking up the camper then went from the camper dealer to the scales again, he emphasized he had no water, food, clothes, guns, dogs, he went straight to the scales.

Aside from the ones Crazy Horse mentioned also look at Snowriver (U. S. ) Snowbird (Canada) I believe the web site is snowbirdcamper.com.

I guess you are looking at East End Campers. I own a 945 Lance AND bought it from Billy. He has been good to deal with. I like the northstar but my lance will last me another 10 years with no problem. I keep it in a garage so even though it is a 1995 it looks new. Ask him if he is going to add northernlites to his fleet. He has over 60 some new TC's in stock. Good luck. If you want to talk TC's get in touch with me. I live in Southold. Rob

I'm looking seriously at trading my fifth wheel for a Host Yukon with the tent option. I saw the new Lance 1131 (it also has a tent) at the Hershey RV show over the weekend and was not impressed. I talked with the National Sales Director of Host at the show and he mentioned Bill of East End several times.

TC camper

Bill owns East end campers. I know him well since he lives here in town. The last time I was at his place of business he had over 60 new campers in stock. I own a Lance but I like the host as well as the Northstar. Good luck. Rob

Anyone know if East End will take a travel trailer as a trade-in? I'll probably be calling them in the next few days anyhow.

Thanks,

John

Stick to a Lance, yes there are heavy and they are not cheap, but you can trust the quality and dependability. Just make sure you have the right truck under it.

Ditto with Grizzly. I looked for years for a decent truck camper and ended up buying new Lance. We have used it on a tour of the UP and really like it alot. :D
