I have absolutely no idea if there is any truth to any of this. I did hear from two different sources (rumor mill) that the 6. 0 is gonnna go bye-bye. Anybody got any real info??

If Dodge drops Cummins for an MB/Detroit/???? My next truck will not be a Dodge.

Had a Ford salesman try and tell me it was Cat's fault that the 6. 0 was having so many injector troubles.....
You could go Cat, Cummins, Detroit, Motori, or Benz. Now that would be cool, except for the decision.....
Champane Flight said:Cat did put a 3208 in a few Ford one tons for awhile in the late 70s. A friend of mine bought a used one. It was a hog, it would run like a scalded ape, but only got around 10MPG. At 110,000 miles it ate a valve and sent it through a turbo (twin turbos), he went to get it fixed and was quoted a repair price of over $4000. 00 . The truck was parked.![]()
