Car is an '88? Chevy Beretta My nephew just got his license and he asked my to put new pads on the front. There are OEM locking lugs on each wheel, 1 per. Can't find the key. Tore the car apart.
Take a 1/2" drive socket thats roughly the size of the deepest part of the lug and drive it in w/ a small sledge . it'll go on tight enough to spin it off w/ an air gun. . (this does work, ive done it hundreds of time when i worked at the garage)... give it a try.
PS once its broke loose just a thread or so put an extension in the socket and wiggle it around and you'll get the socket back.
