Ok i just could not resist the stacks so i order mine and they will be here on friday. I am kind of limited on tools so if you all have any creative ways to make the 5 inch hole in my bed i would appreciate the idea. i want it as clean as possible. Thanks for the help and ideas i will post pics when i finish.

BE VERY AWARE WHEN USING A SAWSALL !!!!

I watched some moron at an event start cutting into his fuel tank with a sawsall! (not only that, it looks like cr*p)

A holesaw is the cleanest possible.

so i bought a hole saw for $34. Oasis i saw the stacks and just had to have them on now. I am going to put them on this saturday is there anything that i need to know before i do it. It looks like its going to be a tight fit under the bed to run the 90 up to the T but other thanks that i think it should be ok. If there is anyone that is interested on my banks exhaust let me know it would just be the muffler back with a new tip.

Be really careful with a holesaw that big. I always position the saw with the 1/4'' pilot bit and arbor removed then screw the arbor in to mark the center. Drill just the pilot first then attach the hole saw. If you try to do both at once when the pilot pops though you'll hit the hole saw down too fast, the result is your drill wrenched out of your hands and all kinds of bad stuff happening.

Use a lot of "Tap-magic" or some other cutting oil with that . Hold on tight , but don't lean on it too hard. If that big bruiser goes in a bind on you , it can hurt you real badly. That would be as in broken bones and stuff. Slow and easy , lots of cutting fluid .

Have fun .

Take your hole saw, cut a hole in a piece of 2x8, Then use the 2x8 as a template to drill through. You can stand on the end of the board, Saw is going nowhere except through the bed.

when you all did you stacks did you weld the T to anything. what i was planning to do was run the flex pipe from the old exhaust to the 90 and then to the T. Than from the T across the bed to the Two 90's on up to the Stacks. Is there anything that i am going to need to weld underneith the truck. i bought some heater hose so that i can put it around the whold so if the T does hit the bed it wont rattle. i would like to keep the T solid in the middle of the hole if possible. thanks for the ideas and the help.

I cut the hole with a plasma cutter and make it just big enuf to fit the bottom of the Y-Pipe in and the Y sets on the bed and don't move or rattle at all.

Good Luck
