Christmas Memories - That Magical First BOMBing Accessory

Not a diesel, but, he got his ram the hard way,

Crazy,

I was watching some car show this weekend on Speed and the host of the show had a convertable Cuda, car had an interesting history, he claimed it was worth in the 7 figure range!!

HOLY CRAP!! thats crazy, but Ive watched the car auctions in Auburn Indiana (ebay sponsored) and you see awesome cars go for quite a bit!! But I would only pay that much or more if it was a 70 challenger plumb purple 440 RT. Gotta love the classic muscle car era (too bad I missed it by a few years :( ) Moms first car was a NEW 69 camero SS!!! I was blessed with a 89 250 4x4 Ram (318) I shoulda kept it and swapped the motor with a Cummins, oh well!

HeHe! a friend of mine just scored a clean rust free body the other day for a hundred bucks two weeks ago. He already had the rest of the parts laying around and along comes this find. He also has a Hemi for it so it is going to be a clone. This thing was so buried that we walked right past it and did not even notice it!On the return trip through he spotted a part of the quarter and we went and found the Cuda in the middle of all this junk. The guy also had a 69 Roadrunner 440 6 pack 4 spd and a 68 Roadrunner 440 727 that he let go for $500. each two weeks before we found about the sale. All together there were over 300 cars on his lot. Just wished we had found out sooner as a lot of nice rides went for way cheap! The guy was in hog heaven thinking he had sold the "junk" cars for so much!If he would have put the beer down long enough to sober up he might have been a pretty rich man now!!

Man, how come these kinda deals always happen to somebody else and not to me? Every time I find a stash like that, it's just the opposite: The owners thinks that every damn thing on site is made outta gold, and they'd just as soon throw it in the crusher right in front of your face than haggle one red cent on the price!
