PE4200... available?

Which Southbend is for me?

Thanks, I am considering this Dodgezila turbo as my next big adventure. If anyone here's of a TDR discount please post or pm me with the details. What would you guys recomend for my application? I want a tow monster, I enjoy blowing pass fords with my 13,000lb trailer. And I like it when they try and catch up but just can't. What power level would you think my ATS trany could hold safely, and with longevity? Thanks.

I considered giving a discount to TDR members, but the only way I could would to be to raise the regular price not lower the TDR price. With seven stores I have a hard enough time just trying to keep the salespeople up to date on what we offer and the price to sell it at. Make no doubt that I appreciate TDR members.

hope this helps

:D :D :D

I think for the performance and quality the price is well justified. Just my opinion after really riding this thing very hard with no problems at all.

If I'd known what a kick in the pants this "little" turbo was going to be, I'd gotten one a bunch sooner. I was saving up for a big-daddy monster turbo--and we all know how expensive they are--and the downpipe and adapters and all that.

NOW I say, if'n you are going to be running 300-450 you might look TWICE at the Dodgezilla.

I was running OEM 35/12 at 34# max. I dyno'd 415 with lots of fuel left over. Levels 4 and 5 left smoke trails and got things hot. I was used to running the pyro PAST 1500 anytime I really stood on it.

Now I have the DZ with 14cm set to 42-44# and much more fuel is getting burned --and I have to REALLY push it to get the pyro past 1300. Zero to 110 will get around 1400, but the temp rises much slower and drops faster. Can't wait to get back to the dyno.

Spools like the stock 35, just pushes much more air. :D

Installation notes: The stock turbo had studs for the top manifold flange fasteners. I had to come up with two bolts for that. Otherwise--bolt-on app!

I could not take it any longer after hearing all the good things about this turbo I broke down and decided on the Dodgezilla turbo. If it is as good as you all are saying It should be a nice setup . thanks for the information. It is nice to get opinions from people who are running a product rather then hearing only from the people selling them. Real world results.

Hey guys would this turbo be good for me in my 03 Cummins H. O. I plan on having about 550 rwhp. If not what turbo would you guys suggest?

Thanks

Nick

twins  ... . how much does pdr charge for twins with labor and everything? something that will support 550 rwhp with egts ok with a 0-120 run. .

Thanks

Nick

Update. I just installed my DZ turbo a few days ago. Results are this truck is fast now. It seems to be doing a relly good job at burning the fuel I am throwing at it. It spools really well and seems to make 40 lbs of boost. My egts climb slower but I can still get the pyro up to 1350 pretty easy on a 0 to 80 run with the PM 3 on level 6. The out side temp was 30 degrees. I have never run any other turbos so I don't know how they would handle the egts compared to my set up so maybe this is as good as it gets. I have not turned up the PM 3 to Level 9 yet but it looks like the egts will still get pretty warm. Overall this seems like a nice turbo. I was just hoping the egts would be a little lower. The truck definitely seems to make more power though.

Stubbe, let it make 45# or so. Might get a little more air in there. I think the upper limit of efficiency is 42#.

Remember that the adjusting screws vent to atmosphere. Bigger hole = bigger loss to WG actuator = HIGHER boost.

Hybrid 35/40.

Dodgezilla is a HX35/40 Hybrid, you can buy the parts and build your own from a HX35, very little machine work needed. I built my hybrid and had a 14cm wasted housing modified so it spools a little quicker. I would be interested in buying some take off 35's if you are replacing them with a Hybrid.
