Well my window sticker showed up over the weekend (my build sheet was 9/20). However RAM chat tells me the same thing they have for the last 5 or 6 weeks, that it is in storage (JS build code). Depending on whom I am chatting with I get 1 it is in storage, 2 it is in the stage just prior to being released (which is the JS code), 3 it is waiting for shipment. In the past I have had an eta for shipment, 3 in fact, I no longer get an eta for shipment.
chronology has been
8/17 order placed
9/12 got a build date and was told it would ship 9/20
9/20 build sheet became available and told it was in storage, new ship date 10/6
10/7 told it was in storage, new ship date 10/22
10/27 was informed waiting for shipment scheduling
10/31 monroney/window sticker became available
11/1 Ram chat says in storage no shipping eta yet
The above info either came from Ram Chat or my dealer sending me an email

one bit of info there is a new recall (within last couple weeks) on some 20-21 trucks involving the grid heater relays. Which I am sure will screw this up more. Apparently the grid heaters may catch fire. good information on the fix and parts is difficult and run the gamut of no problem to parts available in May/22.

Awesome Terry.
I got word today that my truck is supposed to be delivered to the dealer between 11/13 and 11/24. While I have been given 3 previous ship dates that all came and passed to no ship date at all. I have never been told it would be at the dealer within a specific time period so am hopeful another couple weeks and it will be here.

Terry I do like it so far though I only drove it a couple miles home last night then to work this morning. This is the first time pretty much in my life I haven't kept a vehicle until the wheels fell off. Had the 17 right about 5 years and 156k miles. I can say this is quieter than the 17 which was immensely quieter than my previous 01 which I know you can relate to that. At least so far the fit and finish seems as good or even better than the 17 however it was dark last night when I picked it up and dark this morning on the way to work.

I saw your post earlier about bully bars. As far as the steps go this truck came with deployable steps (the same as the amp steps) and I can say whoa these are really nice compared to at least what I had on my 17 and 01 (which were 5" raptors). They come down lower when deployed which provides for a much more natural place to step up or down from, offer a much wider footstep and you don't have to "look" for the step. I know the Amps are expensive but I will say already they are worth it. I know my wife will like them much better.

I will get a pic or two up at some point though it is the same color as yours, Delmonico Red just a different trim level. Cant hardly believe I upped the trim level on this but figured been working for well over 40 years, drive about 30-35k miles a year, might as well treat myself, enjoy it for as long as I can and pay for it before I retire in a few years.

I have a friend of mine that placed the order for a 2500 Big Horn May 5th of 2021. It has yet to be received but has been on the second train for the last two weeks. He hopes to get it by Christmas ;).

Another friend ordered a 2500 Longhorn Limited in early June 2021 and it was delivered November 15. Both ordered took place at the same dealer here in Nebraska.

I know railroad service has been really slow. I work at at coal fired power plant and coal deliveries by the rail road are weeks behind. Tracking is slow due to the lack of drivers and trucks. It seems the better paying trucking companies are delivering faster now or as normal pre-pandemic.

Howdy boys! Have you missed me? I'm back. I have had trouble logging in, but I figured it out. Anyhoo, I have good news...ordered First Husband's 3500 Limited 9/7, got word 2 weeks ago it went into D1 status, with a ship date of 12/10. Got an update from dealer yesterday that it is "off to the body vendor," so things look like they are on track for early Jan, presuming it takes about 30 days to get it here. Remember, this is a surprise, so mum is the word. First Husband still does not have a clue. I told him the other night I had a surprise in store for him, the biggest surprise of his life! When I asked him to guess what it was, he said, "leather pants?" Now there is an idea.

Not sure where you’re located, but I talked to my regular salesman this past Monday when I was getting a fan clutch replaced on my 2018 RAM 4500. He said estimated ship times from Saltillo to Nashville, TN (the train portion....for this particular dealership in Somerset, Ky) is running six to seven weeks—-and subject to change. Factor in Christmas break and New Years......and it could end up being much longer than six or seven weeks.

Good evening, Gentlemens. Both trucks ordered in Sep are now complete, and apparently on their journey from Mexico. We ordered the 3500 Limited Longhorn for C. Carpenter, including the Longhorn Level I equipment group. I am now concerned the the Longhorn window sticker makes no mention of the deployable side steps, when this was and is promoted as one of the components of the Level I equipment group. Any thoughts on this? First Husband still has no idea about his surprise. C. Carpenter presses me to tell him, but that is only because he is so terribly impatient. FH would overanalyze the whole thing (of course I have not done this!) and take all the fun out of it. Let his keep thinking he is getting leather pants. No idear where that came from!

Not all components of an option will always on the window sticker. I’d wait and see what happens when it shows up.
