135,000 on my original VP, Changed One lift pump, Use Stanadyne every tank, Have a "53" series block too so I drive on the edge of my seat!

I got out of the original VP44 club today, it went 225,000.

Now that I've changed it, I think I should have done it long ago. I beleive, those that say as the VP44 wears you lose timing, are correct. Truck works much nicer, even though it was running ok before the change. ( My TST 2 was turned on for all of the 225,000 miles) :p

LP was changed at 188,000miles.

Think I'll put the in tank pump kit in as soon as I can get one.

oh what fun... ... :)

Original VP$$ gone at 52K, Number two VP$$ going out at 84K.

Original never had pump wire tapped.

Second VP$$ tapped with comp box.

Number three VP$$ on order... probably won't tap the pump wire this time.

114000 plus. No special additives or service. Even ran it dry once at about 55000. Pressure last checked 3 months ago right on specs.

Two engines, four trackbars. two L. P's, but original V. P. at 48,000. Seven more months left on extended warranty and praying for a timely failure(before 2-19-06)

What doo you fellers doo with your trucks - get groceries? :p ;)

Glad to see a few posts lately have a few more miles on than mine. LOL!

160K on original inj pump. A few lifts - but that's an annual thing aint it? LOL!

Ran it dry once, filled it with water once, and put gel treatment in it ~~maybe~~ twice b/c it was colder than ... . well, it was cold. ;) Fuel up wherever I am when it runs low.

I did add a mech press guage to the top of the fuel filter housing.

Truck has towed a goose, or hauled heavy loads since new. (That's what it is for isn't it?)

Changed crank sensor too and starter contacts while it was off.

I thought that this was a "no engine /transmission" board?

Well, 95K on original Lift Pump. 145K on Vp44. Still Stock engine. No chips or chirps yet. Need to clean the fresh air sensor, running exhaust brake. Using fuel additive, 80% additive and 20% transmission fluid or light oil. 8oz with 30 gallons of fuel. Replaced Map and Crankshaft Sensor between 85 and 98K.

Truck doing fine except for door rust that is getting bad.

160,000. 2 LP's later. Was told about 3 years ago that I "might as well put an injection pump on, its shot". It has ran fine since. I will stick with it as it works. If it aint broke, dont fix it!!!
