20,000 miles in 10 months. Failed: Clock spring, center console hinge, Driver side p/door lock switch. Overall average Mileage has been 14. 3. Which is better than the Jeep Cherokee I was driving. Bigger truck=better mileage, go figure.

just made it over 20K on my 99 2500 4x4 QC.

Rear Transfer case output seal and drive shaft...

bad finish on the yoke = eating seal = QC replaced whole driveshaft and seal and after trying to just replace the seal.

Even the FSM says basically = bad real seal new = bad finish on yoke..... but I guess the service techs dont RTFM.

One alignment under warrenty.

Also got ride of the POS rear factory recall hitch.

oopps, almost forgot about the transmission cooler line that cracked and started leaking...

Other than that, knock wood, ok so far.

01 ETC traded at 30k. Only complaint was drivers side windshield washer nozzle did not fan out on windshield, spraying a little low. Picky,picky,picky...

01 ETH 4k no problems.

17,800 miles in a little under a year.

Clockspring &

Center console (plastic tabs that hold the lid up keep breaking)

And after this post, will be looking into a new lift pump.

Can't complain, I love this truck as much now as the day I drove it off the lot. What a beauty!!!:D :D :D

74,000 miles

1 Lift Pump at 70,000 Idle preasure 9# pre filter 8# post filter 2# WOT Replaced W/ Part # 3990105 Cummins/Carter pump

Had a reflash durning the winter and it improved shifting and power.

No other mechanical problems and no warrenty work. :D :) :) :)

50,800 Miles on mine in 19 monthes. Only engine related problem was a bad crankshaft position sesor at 46K. Also had the pivot point (the metal bar) for the brake/clutch work loose causeing the brake pedal to flop around (only warranty item done).

I have been real happy with my truck as in the 48300 wonderful miles I have owned it I only had one lift pump replaced (because at WOT it would drop to 7 PSI so maybe it wasn't totally dead).

DHatfield ~ You did not have the fuel pump changed under warrantly did you? :) From what I have read we are lucky to have it changed if it reads 0 by DC dealer!!!! I can almost bet you are the first I know of that has changed it if it read 7 PSI WOT unless of course it was on their own dime. So inquiring minds want to know was it you or DC dealer?:D

24 valve

5. 1k. two switches on the passenger side==power lock and lumbar support. installed a pusher pump and pre filter yesterday, feeding the oem lift pump. :D

30,000 miles

Turned 30,000 this past weekend and I haven't had a problem yet. Replaced front turn-signal assembly due to water getting inside.

I hope it stays this trouble free for a long time!:D :D :D
