Mine was loaded on vessel 3/6/04 according to Insight. It keeps pushing back the delivery date to dealer. Now its back to 3/24. I ordered this in October, thinking I might have it in December. Now I'm wondering if I'll have it by summer... Next time might be a Tommeygun special! My dealer is 90 miles from Baltimore; can that be done in a couple weeks?

Don't hold your breath or sell your old one just yet. You may just grow old waiting for yours. Mine is on the boat with yours (loaded 3/6). I've been checking DI for over a week, and the estimated delivery date pushes back one day per day. The last two days it says it was expected in Port of Baltimore same day, but this disappears by the end of the day. Next time (if there's a next time) I'm stupid enough to order anything, I'll make sure it's made in the US first. I highly doubt I'll ever order a DC product again (ordered mine three weeks before Xmas). I'm betting you can order an '05 on the west coast and get it before us northeasterners will get our '04. 5's, LOL (they're probably sitting on a rail car in some rail yard somewhere as well)!

And today you'll notice it's 3/25. Where in PA are you, and who is your dealer? I'm that distance from Baltimore - in suburban Philly, me dealer is D'Ambrosio's, is that your dealer also? I found out yesterday that my truck is on a train car (currently in South Carolina since 3/10, CSX has no further information). My dealer has at least a dozen 3500s on order that all are having their "dealer due dates" pushed back by a day each day.

I think Insight pushes the date back daily, since it is "overdue" to port. I spoke with my salesperson yesterday, and he found a railcar number, so they have access to info that we don't have.

Mine does this as well. As I said above, ALL the trucks going to my dealer it's doing this. THe info on Insight is VERY inaccurate.

My dealer is Hershey Dodge. Was yours built in Saltillo, or St. Louis? They say all the ones from Saltillo come to the eastern US by ship.

Not all MX trucks come to the eastern shore by boat. Some do some don't.

Now about Insight, it was prettry accurate for me unless something odd happend. I think the reason it pushes the date back is just a precaution on there part incase they can't get a 18wheeler to deliver it. Depending on where on the lot it sits, it might be a while for them to get to it while your truck sits at port.

My delivery date started getting pushed back but it ended up, the truck showed up at the dealer 1 day after the original scheduled date (One week early from the latest scheduled date). I was told that the my truck ended up being on the right part of the storage area, not in the rear where they might have to move a few hundred vehicles to get to it.

BTW, I ordered 1st week of September and it was at the dealer by the end of October. And it did come on a slow boat from MX to the Port of Baltimore.
