On my 2005 4x4, what should the Caster be set at for the best drive?. It is all stock, no lift. The specs show 4. 0 to 5. 5 degrees, I am at 4. 6, and it doesn't really feel right, like it wants to over steer a little. Also the toe, the specs show -0. 3 to +0. 8, mine is 0. 1 on the left and also the right. The steering is real touchie.

For caster, I like 5. 0 one side, 5. 5 other to help offset road crown. For toe in, I like as close to zero as possible for better wear/economy.

As far as being too "touchy", I'm not sure... hopefully someone else will jump in.

Book calls for 4. 0 to 5. 5 degrees That said I've found our trucks coming out of the facory as far off as 9 degrees... . As for toe in depending on if you have the old steering drag link and tie bar or if you have updated to the 2008 and newer draglink and tiebar kit then you want less toe in. The kit has less moving parts inbetween the wheels. I'm guessin you just did your ball Joints and now things are tight? touchy?
