$2. 659 in Pasadena, Ca. Did anyone see the 60 minutes piece on diesel from coal. The Gov. of Montana ( I think ) is pushing to make diesel out of coal at about $1 a gallon, plus state taxes of course! Sounds like it might work. The Germans did it in WW2.

Sounds like the coal might be another way to get away from big oil, works for me, and being only 2-3 hrs from the coal mines, hmmmm maybe it will be readily available for around here if it gets cranked up and going.

Diesel went up $. 02 cents today to $2. 339 at Flying J in Orange and gasoline went down $. 02 cents to $2. 039. Diesel is $2. 499 and higher here in Pt Neches and gasoline is $2. 069 and higher. bg
