How much are my 315/75/16's and my 2" front lift slowing me down in the quarter? I got a 15. 41 at 90 mph. My problem, my brother-in-law's PSD with a chip and propane gets a 15. 04 at 89 mph, but he has an auto. They don't seem to think that my tires are slowing me down. I'm tempted to put my 265's back on and take the lift down just to see what time I could get. But then again, I still need to put in my South Bend clutch.

If we race from a roll, I can get pretty easily, but I want my bragging rights on paper. I could always add propane.

Forced air motors perform better in front of an automatic. End of story. Everytime you shift your manual transmission, the lost boost.

Putting DC's automatic aside, If you put the same motor in front a manual transmission and an automatic transmission. The automatic will turn quicker time slips.

As far as the larger tires, Absolutely they slowed you down. aside from the added weight. Thats like changing gear ratios or starting in 2nd or third gear.

Considering its disadvantages, your truck did really well.
