How much transmission fliud W/ Mag-Hitech

Just ordered deep trans pan from Geno's. I was wondering if you, the all knowing could tell me what fluid is within spec's and how much to use? Thanks

Deep pan adds an extra 2 quarts

Double-deep pan adds an extra 4 quarts



I believe stock capacity is 12 quarts. However, I don't know if you will be ble to fully drain your TC, I don't think there is a drain plug.



I would empty what you can and measure what came out, then you know how much to put back in

ATF +4 is the new fluid.

According to Geno's, the mag-hytec deep pan doesnt add any more fluid to a 2001 ram (47re transmission I believe) it adds 1 1/2 quarts to the 727 transmission which is older. The double deep will add about 4 quarts to our pans.
