The Dodge in question in the TripleLok thread started by KGoode, chauffered me all around Denver for a week. I can't personally attest to the HP figures (I was at the shop that day, trying to help finish Eric's truck so we could come home), but it's a strong truck, pulls very hard. It has a PowerEdge Comp in it. The rest of what's in there, call them if you want to know. Mark Kendrick, to answer your comment, the torque convertor in that truck can handle far more than most people would believe. I know. I saw it up close,in a disassembled demonstration version, and I assembled several trannies and valve bodies while I was there, as well as the one that's in Stack'd 'n' Jack'd, Eric's truck. I helped drive that one home from Colorado. Sweet.

Clint also had me drive his Ford on an errand. It's scary fast. Woohoo. (Yes, Clint, I promise I didn't hammer on it!!!) I didn't use even half the power it had available, I could definitely feel it. That's one funny Ford, for sure.

Numbers don't mean much. Seeing, driving, experiencing, that's where it's at. Once those guys at ATS put their trucks on the drag strip, a lot of people will go home crying. :D The big deal here, is not the HP they got. The real deal is the clever diesel invention of the decade that lets them transmit that power to the ground.

Glad to see you guys made it home safely, it was nice to put faces with names.

I take it there were no problems with the transmission? I think everybody is anxious to see how well it will hold up to the power of Erics truck.

watch out for the Hurricane ;)

It's going to be fun for sure :D

I was lucky to drive a CTD with the DTT and man oh so sweet. Lots of low end torque and speed to go with it... . thanks Jim

The only Hurricane's that I worry about is the ones called Betsy, Hugo or Andrew. :D

Just the facts maam, just the facts..... thanks Joe (Friday).....

Yah, Kevin, it was fun to meet ya, trade punches and all that. :D Give Don one from me when ya see him:-laf .

Gimme a "D" ! Gimme a "T" ! Gimme another "T" ! Getting kind of old.

Lets see. We need to get a Pro Torque dealer from the Midwest in here, as well as Dun-wrong, ooops I mean Dunrite , and Suncoast, and we'll pick one from ATS, then we can have cheerleader competitions ! Free cheerleader outfits, and pom-poms, I hope Bob shaved his legs recently ! :D

Better yet, let the hardware do the talking. Gonna be a lot of hardware talking on the track this year!

Yeah, I am a pretty strong storm when I get started. :p ;) :D

Bob,

I think that Howard ment that DTT has had their day, and will continue to, now let ATS have a parade without pi$$ing on it. if there is more then one good fueling box, then why can't there be more then one good transmission?

Briar,

That was too funny!

As far as Don shaving, think I wont be there that day.

I agree with KGoode, it is nice to put faces with names. It was very nice to meet and talk to Briar and Eric. I hope all went well. When is Eric going to post about the new transmission? I am sure it will cause :-{} like when I first posted.

If the numbers don't mean much, why did they post them?

LVMS is running a test N tune this Saturday... I'll bring my truck if they'll bring theirs. Heads up run on #2 only.

Sounds like somebody is ready to come out and playOo. Welcome back to the Bluegrass, Briar. Glad you made it back home O. K. Hey Keith, I have really enjoyed showing all my PS and Duramaxee buddies your drag video. Keep the GOOD TIMES rolling.

When you post HP numbers they do matter. Don't know anyone but HVAC over 600hp personally. I do know that Jim has done well too but using drugs to do it.

I hope they make those numbers but I wanna know how they did it so I can decide fo myself and maybe learn something from it.

I don't know exactyly what HVAC was running when he hit 650hp. Did he do it on #2 alone? I forgot to ask him.

I'm obviously not the only skeptic.

Don and Clint didn't post the numbers. I think Don will be on the dyno again this weekend. When the numbers are repeated then I think we can put this to rest.

Mark,

Actually when HVAC hit the 650 mark I do believe that he was on N20 and LPG.

Here's some food for thought. When Jim (CUMINNTSTRKN) came to Colorado and had his truck dyno's, On N20 and LPG he posted numbers in the high 400's (49x i believe). So how is it possible to hit almost 600 on only #2?

Not trying to start a flaming war... just telling the truth!!!

Those are the numbers they got from the dyno. They are going to run it on the dyno again to confirm. If the numbers are similar then I guess it is possible to do 600 on #2.

If they are going to run it on the same Mustang dyno again, what's the point? When the big HP boys want to put it to rest, we need to get two or more of them together (whether that be us, or Joe D or Fuller or Piers, or whoever - basically anyone in the high 400's or 500's) to make a pull on one dyno, one place, one time. These load dynos aren't consistent enough to call accurate as far as I'm concerned, so we can meet at a Dynojet somewhere.

That way, correction factors and others different dyno factors are out the window.

BTW, correct me if I'm wrong, but the biggest number from a 24v on #2 only has been one of our prototype testers at 551hp in an ETH. Marks truck has made 532 as recently as 3 weeks ago, and likely again tomorrow.

Has anyone else made that much on #2 only?
