The problem started when i couldn't get out of my parking situation. The wheel would not turn unless I was rolling and therefore stuck. I have since installed a steering box from Red Head Steering and an oem pump from psc. The pump had the pressure turned up per Lances' suggestion and still poor steering. Its worse to the left for sure. Besides getting crazy, is there a way to fix this?

My Buddy is having a similar problem with his 99 dodge 2500 Cummins he lost the steering in it had a new one put in it it lasted 2 days so he took it in for warranty and they put another new one in and didn't make it but about 50 miles and lost it again the second time they also replaced the hoses and flushed the system and still lost this last one any ideas im thinking either cheap one or maybe not new ones

Hey Ben sounds to me like your steering rack might need to be replaced. It sounds like maybe the teeth are chewed up on the rack or the gear is bad on the shaft. if it is harder to turn one way over the other. Have youd hit any curbs or anything with it? God knows you dont take that thing offroad. Your truck is so clean Id eat off the frame rails.

Hope your taking good care of my motor. Im gonna try some new ball joints since I was told they were bad. I also maxed the pressure in the tires and it did help some. I consider the Apache Trail 20 times off road. Thanks for the SD.
