best thing you can do with the filter by the engine is get a billet aluminum lid for it . They come off much easier then those miserable plastic ones. Genos Garage and others sell them

I won't believe it's fleetguard unless there is a fleetguard logo stamped into the black plastic..... Like the engine mounted molars actually have fleetguard stamped/molded into them.

But not to worry about Mopar branded filters. I believe they all come with a parts warranty.

OK, what brand is the new pre filter? Looks like a FleetGuard housing.

"WAS" as in 13-18. 19 and newer they are a canister and most likely a FleetGuard filter.

You could be right. It could also be a Racor, Donaldson, or whatever other manufacturer bid the lowest. The engine mounted filter is delivered as a package with the engine to Ram, the primary not so much. So it's a lowest bidder that meets the desired filtering efficiency gets the award. Being Fleetguard has historically been a little more expensive than other manufacturers I'd bet it's not a Fleetguard but have no facts to back that up.

I obviously disconnected The damp the ram 3500 and it only took like 45 minutes or whatever but they charged me way too much I paid 192 with the rotella t6 full synthetic yeah I know it's a rip-off but you know what the place was convenient and that was with the filter and everything my mistake won't happen again.

Fleetguard makes a primary for the 13-18 but to my knowledge OEM was always Racor.

Actually that fleetguard water separator/primary filter is actually a rebranded parker/racor. I have both a Parker/Racor and a Fleetguard in the shed. They are identical. And even though the fleetguard has the fleetguard part number stamped on the housing...... IT HAS THE RACOR/PARKER part # on the cellophane wrapper around it. They obviously came from the same production plant with different paint jobs.

Hey guys just had a motor carrier officer check my overall length near my house I actually know the guy he's a motor carrier officer enforcement guy My overall length is 59 ft with the RV and with the pickup so 59 ft is my overall length he said you're good you're good.

You are correct that is the weigh scale near my house and that's where they pull out the portable scale sometimes and do inspections and stuff like that and as I said the motor carrier enforcement officer who I know fairly well he said yes you are 59 feet long a hundred percent you said you're good at what how long are we allowed to because I don't even know??????

If you look at the photo with my wife there are three lanes for the DOT to line trucks up in so they can do inspections and weight the trucks.
For me its a great place to take pictures and it really straight and level for checking the RV and PU truck to make sure all is kosher and lined up correctly.

I still believe my Lippert TrailAir leans a couple of degrees to the LEFT and others have mentioned this on other forums too but its riding so well I will just leave it alone for now,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,and I now have 97 psi in the airbag on the TrailAir and its just wonderful how active and smooth its working.
