Listen to these guys, they know their stuff.
When we pull any of our tractors(Class 8) in to service when hot they will gain 15-20 psi easy.
This will give this thread another 40 posts. Fill the tires with nitrogen and watch the difference in pressures as the tires warm up.
Failure at low miles. Tread separation, belt failures, ply separation, etc. The Transforces on my '15 wore out so fast I would have been dollars ahead to have sold them as take-offs. Pure garbage, but at least they don't have a reputation for catastrophic failures. The Nexens do.

Nah that's mostly bad quality recaps. We run some recaps also, mostly on older tractors and trailers. Alot of fun trying to dodge the steel belts sticking out everywhere when changing one on the side of the interstateThat'll eat your arms up in a hurry.
Certainly a lot of bad recaps ,gotta be GoodyearsI can imagine they gotta be pretty fun to change . i would hate to have to just dodge them when they come apart on the freeway. I do my best to stay away from them semi's , I never hang around one of them on the freeway.
I call then gators, and they are dangerous to me when I ride my Harley.
