I've got a thread entitled "we should circulate used fuel guage senders" that i stuck in 2nd Gen/no engine... . should be here... got an update for better economics from a Don Broadhead, non-posting TDR member(?) ---I don't know how to transplant an incoming email to one of these messages, but he says he can do the repair cheaper and simpler and that it works... mentioned teflon washers that a friend of his had made... I can "fwd" it to you from my box, or maybe illflem can stick it right here onto the forum... . rich

Rich, I found this at Fritz`s web page. It is similar to the TDR article on a simple fix for a broken sending unit. Maybe Don wrote the article?
