After talking to tooooooooo many wheel people most of the honest people told me to get forged and forget cast, 2 piece or even billet with the 315 or larger tires because of the extra load. I have the Weld Evo Vel 8's forged 18x9. 5x6. 12 BS(backspace) with the nitto terra grappler(325/65/18).
I would not recommend this set up for off roading, they rub on the trailing arms less than the 315/oem forged wheels but rub OOO so little on the front spoiler and the Xenon flairs just a tad...
My truck will never see offroading.
Still have a little cutting to do when the weather warms up... . One problem I do have now is a shimmy and do to not having hub centric installed yet but are on there way.
My truck is not lifted but actually lowered in the back to get in the garage... .
check my gallery
hope some of this helps
I have talked to Alba, Boyds, Colorado, Budnik, Billet, Weld and many more.
