How often change generator lubricating oil?

GM transmission SWAP ON 12v

The speeds in NIsaacs calculations are at 2500rpm. That engine is defueling at those RPM’s without pump mods. The “sweet spot” is @ 1700 and I would consider @ 2100 max for extended drives. With the numbers you gave, 46” tires, at 1700rpm in direct 1:1 gear you’ll be running 37.5mph and with the 0.80 OD it will be 47mph. At 2100 that bumps it to 46 and 58.

The engine plate says 190 HP @2300 rpm

It appears the Allison might not be the way to go because of no overdrive.. I may have to look for an OD manual to match

Here is a picture of the ENGINE PLATE. I do not see anything that is nine digits. ( but I misread it was 9.. and not 8.. sorry..cummins noob mistake) I only got a partial frame slice with no vin from the original international bus

You are not that's the number I just added it to my Quick Serve.

Mine is 11 Oct 1995, ESN 56244540 you are welcome to use that as a cross reference as well, to see if we have different stuff at times.

Your ESN, as Tim pointed out, is 45390664.

This is your data plate from QuickServe along with the VIN. The VIN designates it is in a 1997 Freightliner MB-Chassis ISB.

So now you have your ESN.

Here is an example of what can be done...

If you see a “B” with an alternator mounting setup you desire get the ESN from that engine. We then can get the part number of the bracket and also see if the other components involved are the same. Also can see if the belts, tensioner, etc match..
