I have been meaning to join this site for years and then life would happen, finally got around to it. I'm new here but not to diesels, I have a 2000 Dodge SLT that I have put 25o,000 miles on. still goin strong. I just had some work done on it though.. I bought a 2015 last year with 31,000 on it. I put some extras on it. I was amazed how much power the new truck had over the old one.

nice trucks! welcome.
Thank you.

Nice looking trucks I'm interested in the Westin winch and mounting system do you have the category reference numbers to those
Sorry I don't have them, I ordered all that stuff from wal mart on the internet. I know a lot of people don't like them and i'm not crazy about them and their policies, but they have free shipping on everything and they were cheaper. I put all of it on myself. here is their website, should be able to get them there.

Welcome to TDR. Great looking trucks you have there.

Talk to me about that tailgate step.
Thanks, best 40 bucks I've spent in a while. it works like a charm. easy getting in the bed and it just folds over and straps on. I'm getting too old to climb in the beds anymore.lol I may buy one for the 2000 model. it is not as high off the ground though. I ordered it from wal mart online the same time I did the winch.

I wish that Amp step was $40. It folds out from under the bumper, its a bit spendy , but also works very well .

I like the idea, especially for the price. It's not the getting in the bed that is bad for me, is getting back out.....LOL

I hear ya, I grab the bed rail and just walk right up it and grab the rail and step down. I have steps on the ball hitch and it's fine for reaching over the tailgate for something.

I look in to it. Thanks.

Your welcome, but they are pretty expensive, around $240 . That one posted is a lot nicer price.

The Amp is nice, its easy to use , folds up ,and out of the way when not using, but they are a little overpriced IMO .It was gift, or I would have probably gone with something a little less money.

I used to jump in ,and out of the bed all the time, at 71 , its not as much fun anymore :(

To the OP, I sure like your side steps a lot better then my OEM's on my 2014 Laramie, the rubber pads on them are in two places instead of the full length of the step. Okay getting in ,but somewhat out of place getting out.

My son has the Amp automatics, very nice, expensive , but nice. Thinking seriously about getting them, its only money :D

I don't know if they are factory or not, they were on it when I bought it. truck was two years old. I have had it a year now. The tires and wheels were on it too. I had pics of it when I bought it before I put stuff on it but lost them when my computer crashed. I think I can find one though.
