I am installing a new sending unit tomorrow. The new unit has an "in tank" lift pump that replaces the lift pump on the side of the engine. I have A FASS pump installed at this time. Has anybody installed the Dodge fix to our failing lift pumps with a "in tank" pump? I have a FASS pump now and I want to keep the FASS pump but I am conserned that the "in tank" pump will restrick the flow of fuel. I am thinking of taking the "in tank pump" out and extending the pick up tube to the bottom of the strainer. Any suggestions or thoughts would be helpful.
