Competition 24V power??

DIRECTIONS:

The name of the nearest bigger town is Gifford, IL.

Directions to Gordyville:

From I-57 - take the Rantoul exit and go east through Rantoul.

Gordyville is about 5 miles east of Rantoul on the south side of the road.

From Route 1, take Rt. 136 heading west and go west through Gifford.

Gordyville is about 1 mile west of Gifford on the south side of the road.

The closest place to stay is Rantoul There is a Super 8, Days Inn (indoor pool), Best Western and the Quarters Inns and Suites (its actually an old air force base and the rooms have fridge and micro and if you tell them your going to Gordyville its only $40).

Anyone got any details on how early we need to be there, what gate to go in, anything like that? Also how many people we get in with our entry fee. Got a few friends tagging along and not sure what they need to get in? Purchase tickets there or what? Thought some of this info. might come in the mail but havent seen anything. Matt

They need to be there before 10:00 a. m. Saturday morning for the MANDATORY drivers meeting, if they aren't at the drivers meeting they won't be allowed to hook, no refund.

They should get there sometime Friday, so their truck has proper time to be parked inside and can warm up.

They need to enter the west gates and park their rigs south of the arena

They receive three wrist bands at registration for their entry which are good for the entire weekend.

Any additional tickets needed will have to be purchased at the door.

No we are not selling pit passes, because the fans have access to the pits, the only time they will be asked to leave is if it too conjested to move tractors around the pit area before show time.

Directions: 5 miles east of Rantoul, Illinois on Hwy 136, they can't miss it.

They need to bring at least 200 ft of extention cord and a generator to set outside, I am sure the building's electrical system can't handle 200 block heaters.

More ?'s

Is the building that we are "staging" in enclosed/heated or just "shelter" Is it suposed to be heated in the main building that the pull is in? 200ft of ex cords really?? I hope it is a warm day in hell... oh I mean ILL. :)

Craig

No more questions, just show up and we'll make it work!!

If the tractors can make it work, I'm pretty shore it will be allright for us.

I wouldn't expect much heat in those buildings.

I'll bring a chain, a couple cans of ether and my jumper cables. For a small fee, I'll help you Craig... :-laf :-laf :-laf

Does anyone know how late we can arrive on friday night and unload? I tried to get ahold of them and havent had anyluck. I wont be there any earlier than 10:00 because of school. Would like to setup stupid tube and all if i can get in there. Thanks, Matt

Scheid could have pulled the sled over the dirt pile and through the side of the building... Kent shut her down about 25' from the pile and COASTED into it.

I had a blast... 'twas good to see folks again and meet some new ones.
