Thanks, but the credit goes to Industrial Injection. Brady has built a great little spinner here as far as I am concenerd. Today I get to play on the dyno with my new toy and see some numbers..... so I will post what I find out.

Plus showing off the upgrades to customers and giving rides really helps too..... :D

Don't get me wrong the SPS66, 64 and PS62 are great turbos too. I wanted something big on my truck, besides twins, that would work with out the surge issues incountered when applying some of these turbo's to a 24v.

Another question for you guys running either SPS 66 or Silver Bullet:

If you hold the RPM at a constant rate (using your service brakes), what is the lowest RPM can you make 20-30+ PSI of boost. Please indicate your approximate elevation where you tested this.

With my HX40 @ 5500', I can get 30+ PSI at 1450-1500 RPM. It takes probably 5-8 seconds and a lot of smoke to get there! Reason I ask is that we have emission testing here in Colorado. They lug the truck down @ WOT and measure opacity at 60, 50, and 40MPH in direct drive. With my 315 tires and 3. 55 gears, that puts me just below 1500RPM!

These turbos usually clean exhaust smoke up. The Silver Bullet and the Super Phat Shaft 62 would be very good for emission testing and also making hp. Infact the SPS62/80 has been discribed as "spooling faster than stock". You should see the same spoolup as an HX40 on our Silver Bullet. But you will be able to make much more hp. You will need bigger OH **** handles! Thanks

OK with my DTT transmission and 91% TC (what setup you run will have a huge effect on the results) I would hit 20 and going towards 30 @ 1600-1700 rpm.

Hey Brett I want to upgrade my PS to a SPS what is the turnaround timeframe? I can't wait to make a good thing better. Im so happy with my ps Im sorta skeptical on how much better it CAN spool.

Here is just a comparison size of the Silver Bullet over a stock HX35, and no it was not me that painted the HX silver... ... ... ... my cohorts did this at the shop. Anyhow it gives a fairly decent view of the overall size.

I know this is a 66 thread but no one has started a Silver Bullet thread, well JetPilot did, but it seemed to ease up a bit. Later Jim.

It's included in the price every time on a Silver Bullet. If you ever want a polished housing on any of our turbos it's no problem. You just have to ask, but the price is a little higher. Thanks, Brady
