My 03 was in the shop today. Dodge says I have 2 bad injectors but we should change them all. 170K on the truck. Dodge wanted 4500 bucks to put in Mopar rebuilts. I am picking up the truck in the morning and taking it to a local fuel injection shop. They said they could replace all 6 with rebuilt injectors for 2800. 00. Still hurts but a little less than the Dodge boys. I have been running the edge EZ at setting 3 for about 120,000 miles. Don't pull anything heavy but have learned my lesson. No more boxes for me.
Put ATS stage I, 50 hp injectors in. Getting 23+ mpg. Big boost in power but some extra smoke. Will add the FASS fuel pump to see if that helps with smoke/power.
You are probably right Tomeygun! I am sure I would have a lot more fun with it but I can't be down that long and need the reliability of stock. If I did that the transmission would be next to go. Besides the wife does not understand the need for more power us guys have. We both almost choked when the dealer said 4500 bucks!

Yes, really. Sorry you don't seem to believe me, but I'll fondly think about you at the pump as I reduce Arab oil dependence. The computer mileage has been bouncing from 23. 1 to 23. 3. I have the 3. 83 rear end and single rear wheels- duallys cost more gas; more friction drag. Many people report 1 1/2 - 2 mpg increase with stage 1 injectors. A friend put stage 1 injectors in his 1998. 5 and a fueling box, with FASS, and on setting 1, which is supposed to be economy, he gets 5+ mpg. Really. Research it out.
Please answer "yes" if you've had at least 1 injector replaced, "no" if you have not had any injectors replaced.
I was just curious what sort of injector failure rate we're seeing.
