Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Injector troubles ????"

If your talkin about the copper washer on the injector picture it is on the injector just covered in carbon, Talked to the guys i got the pump from and yes they are tested at a bosch shop before they are shipped but without hessitation he said sounds like you have a plunger that is sticking, take it off and send it back and well test it and if anything is wrong well get ya a new one. So thats next week project kind of a bummer i have to send it to them but no one around here has any clue how to work on a Hot Rod pump. So until next week. ,..... ;

UPDATE..... So i sent my pump back to the dealer and they found nothing wrong with it so went over every mod done to my truck with the pump guru and it turn out that due to the 7 year old technology (toner ring on the cam gear) he was going to track down my core and check the map that was burned into it. Got a new pump with the same map and BINGO truck runs great. So apparently different fuel curves are a big difference in a modified engine. Not to shure if this is just BS or not but the truck runs great so i am happy... Thanks for all the help. .
