Has anybody bought injectors from the dieseldude on Ebay? If so how were they? Also, are DDP 90 horse injectors the samething as DD3,s or is that a different company?

I am looking at getting rid of my 370,s and cooling off my exhaust and smoke!

I bought a set and installed them about 6 weeks ago. I would have to say that I'm quite happy with them. I feel like I may have lost a LITTLE hp in comparison to the 370's that came out, but they are MUCH cleaner and smoother. The engine is quieter at idle, smokes less, and the engine just generally seems to be much happier.

They did improve fuel mileage a bit, but I can't give you real numbers as I only ran about 1/2 a tank of fuel before making some other changes. What I can say is that I can usually bank on 140 miles to the first quarter tank, but with the new injectors I went about 160.

I have since installed a 100 plate and 4k GSK and am still having fun with the new power and haven't run a good, full tank of fuel through it yet. I am heading over the mountain to Denver in about a week though and should be able to give real fuel mileage numbers then.

DD = Diesel Dynamics, bought out by Edge. Were a leading injector back in the day (came out in 1999) but would pick DDPs over DD injectors now. Edge has a newer version, the Jammer but don't know much about it. Doesn't look like they make them for the 12-valve anyway.

The Jammer is the only option in that direction at this point - DD was shut down in '07 by MSD, who bought Edge. Not sure if Edge is still having the Jammer line made, but there were 12v and 24v injectors designed and sold back while DD was open.

DDP does their own thing and it is a good product. Lenny is still one of the guys going forward every day in development.

e-Bay's "thedieseldude" is Red Oak Diesel Clinic in Red Oak, IA. I've got a set of Stan's injectors in my truck and am quite pleased with them. Engine runs much smoother and smoke free with a modest MPG increase even with occasionally getting on the new #8 fuel plate. Stan was very helpful over the phone and they were pretty quick with the core charge refund as well.

I have a 95 12v with 98,000mi. it only has 250hp. plate, and a SBC feramic heavy duty clutch, the inj. pump has been completely rebuilt before i bought the truck. everything else is stoc. what size of injectors should i look at, that wont over do it?
