I got to test a smarty on my truck for a few days and it really made my truck snappy. The only thing that I did not like about the smarty was every time my truck shifts it would fall on its face but once the rpm's got going the smarty would really come to affect. My question is would aftermarket injectors like the mach's combined with my comp give my truck that snappy throttle response like the smarty gives? P. S. I ran the smarty on #9 and then #8 w/comp. Got to have the comp on to reduce the falling on your face affect.

Good injectors and a comp will give you great throttle response. The best thing to do is decide where you want your truck in terms of HP and how you use it. This will allow you to make all the right purchases once and save a ton of $$.

This may be of some help, I also had the boost drop with my SMARTY and found it was caused by the boost elbow. The wast gate just wasn't working well with my setup until I put the adjustable elbow on. It took a little fine tuning, but it works fine now. I know the Edge comes with the restricted elbow, if you put it on your truck, take it off and try the SMARTY again. As far as injectors or the SMARTY, I would say SMARTY. You can do so much more with the SMARTY then a set of injectors; read code's, recalibrate for tire size, eliminate torque management, drives like a sports car. Oo. Get SMARTY save your money then go for the injectors :-laf

Oh Steve. I didn't know I would cause you all this torment. :-laf Get the smarty and then save for the sticks and turbo.

I am running my stock turbo with a different actuator(thanks to Rebel Ram) that holds up to 31 boost. No shift electronics, just the edge comp. The smarty boosts my turbo even quicker with the comp.
