I don’t think they have one to start with. For what it’s worth, I can’t believe the dealer would throw two hydraulic assemblies at it. They don’t fail! People change them out when doing high mileage clutch jobs but not normally for failure of the hydraulic component.

Well, at least you have a bunch of new parts in there.

yes sir. a month w/o a truck being in construction was highly disruptive to my ability to make a living, however. i will ask ram to pay for the 2 flat beds and 1 truck payment. i think that is a fair request. cheers.

I would think this is a very reasonable request, especially if you prove to them you depend on your truck for an income. When my wife's new at the time Mercury went in the shop for 8+ weeks because they couldn't figure out an issue with the AWD system that left the vehicle inoperable, they shaved a payment off the back end of the loan and provided us a NEW loaner for the duration with no mileage limits . This was extremely important, as my wife was travelling for UH at the time and driving close to 1k miles a week. The service manager was very surprised to see the NEW zero mile car she gave us due for an oil change when we turned it back in...but she held true to her end of the bargain. She was the only person we had to deal with through an otherwise painful experience, and the main reason we have not bought a vehicle from any other dealership since .

They paid a months note for my Challenger when it would mysteriously start itself up and they couldn’t figure it out.

comrades - ram steppped up. i got my last months payment a couple weeks ago from ram - and today - i got paid back for the 2 flat bed trips to the dealer. truck has been good since i got it back. i admit i was slightly surprised. cheers!

FWIW

These systems even w/o a traditional bleed screw can be BURPED, but not bled. A significant difference in the process but really pretty simple.

I wonder if there is more to the story if a couple of hydro's haven't fixed it. Like a full forward adjusted self adjusting clutch.

Didn't read any comments about a careful read of how the clutch pedal feels. That can help a lot in diagnosing.
