If it's on "national backorder"
I don't dispute this, but I wonder if Ram went cheaper on the supplier for this unit than the European companies and earlier model rams?
If it is on 2 week national back order, could that mean there are alot of failures? Or are they just selling more G56 models?
That's the industrial standard today. don't blame Chrysler for it. every European stick shift is built that way since many many years and usually the sealed system works flawlessly a cars life long.
here it failed because of a production issue, that can happen it's all man made.
