What would the possible max temps fo the air passing from the turbo to the intake in a non I/C crossover pipe?

Thanks any info.

300°F is common when the engine is working under a load. You can install an air temp gauge there to monitor. This will tell you how the turbo is functioning. A different turbo combined w/exhaust system/cylinder head mods will change the temps. Also lowering fuel rate will lower the temp.

I don't know what the max temp is or if there is a max temp. Every turbo/engine combo will be different when you change parts/fuel rates.

Thanks.

Changed the compressor wheel and housing and now have to "fab" a connection to the crossover. . Probably not a good spot to cheap out.

Like to get back on the road (before salt gets spread) for a test drive.

Still have almost 1/2 tank (40 gal) left from the Goasis in greenleaf territory.

Why not have an intake elbow made up similar to Greenleaf's, then run a turbo outlet elbow from an IC truck, then have a couple hoses and clamps in the middle?

i can easily peg the 400* gauge i've got (with twins) and i've heard something about somebody with non-IC'd (big) twins seeing upwards of 600*. i know the second stage will add a lot of temp, but it's certainly not cold air coming outta there.
