intakes for the 6.7

There are quite a few different models out there, and i would like to know which ones people seem to like. There are several from afe, like the big cannon and other ones, and also ones like s&b closed. Would the S&B be as good as the open afe? How about turbo noise levels? Thanks for the help.

I just started selling S&B's and everyone loves them, not quite as much noise as an open box but good value, as they include a new intake hose. wished AFE would get a pro dry filter for them, not oiling is wonderful

I have the AFE and it came with a PRO-5 dry and and stage7 oiled air filter. I love the sound and the throddle response. I will try and tack down the part # today for the kit that I bought.

I have the one in the middle, and love it. With that and a straight pipe, you can really hear the turbo.

Any after market intake may void your warranty. That may not matter to you. I have modified my stock intake and added a cold air intake at almost no cost. I also added a high flow K&N filter. It works great.

I have the mega cannon in the middle also. I love it. Came with Proguard-7 and pro dry-s. I have had it on for about 5 months now with the pg-7 still does not need cleaning. Very dusty in west Texas too.

If I were to install an open intake I would also use the MegaCannon... .

I just recently installed my AFE. My previous hand*calculated mpg on winter blend from Shell was 14. 476. The next tank, from the same supplier, still winter blend, was 15. 149 mpg..... an increase of . 673 mpg. My truck had 11,136 miles on it with the OEM air filter; not really dirty for 11k miles in my opinion.
