why is the mileage so poor?

I have a part time job driving a propane truck that looks just like that, same front end, looks the same under the hood, same mirrors, the interior is identical. I drove it to Laughlin and all over Vegas for a day filled it up at the end of the shift, hand calculated at 16 mpg and that's with a 3000 gallon propane barrow on board.

the quick answer to warranty is:



3 years - 150,000 miles on the engine



4 years on the rest of the truck



includes towing coverage for 4 years also



may be some exclusions like tires and brakes but i did not ask for more detail
