Last week I tried to buy a new Can Am Spyder to replace my 2018 early generation. I got the dealer to to lower the price from 27,499 to 26K, and I asked for the out the door final price. 32K and change!!!!! That right 6K of add items, tax, shipping, registration etc. No thanks, I checked with another dealer at 27,499 and asked the out the door final price. 32K and change, so the first dealer did not really want my money.

So the 2018 is getting new front aftermarket chrome wheels(I have never liked the OEM ones), new front tires(so if I do get a new one some day the oem wheels and tires go back on), new GPS, new Sequential LED Turn Signals & Running Lights for the front fenders and who knows what else??

My Kawasaki KRX 1000 SxS has been getting all my money and attention, some I thought I better give the trike so Christmas goodies.

Word of advice from someone that has been retired for 16 years. Go into retirement with newer paid for vehicles and toys!

@SnoKing post pictures of your spyder after you upgrade. We were looking at an RZR. But, still like to just hike too much. Also, beating around in a side by side will kill my back. Why did you choose the Kawasaki?

Size and comfort. I am 220 and 6'3", I sat in them all, and the KRX has the most room. The KRX is noted as having the best ride. They are a great trail and rock climbing machine, however I little low on power for the dunes. With all the things I have done to the KRX is weighs in a 2380 vs 1890+ new weight.
