When my truck was on the rack the guy checking the alignment said that Dodge used to have a sleeve in the upper balljoint that was replaceable with an offset one. Now the setup they use is to press out the whole balljoint and use one thats offset. He grabbed one and showed it to me but he also said they were not factory parts and may cause some warranty problems in that area.
I would take this info and check it against a service manual. It made sense to me looking at my truck but this is coming from a tech that said he couldn't change my caster with the adjusters that I now know to be the right ones. I think he saw that they were in specs and blew me off, it was late. Sorry but I don't know who makes these joints or what the part numbers are. He did say they were available at most parts stores.
