it was too "big" pixel-wise to fit in the 50x50 allotted for these "avatars", so I copied it to "paint" here on the computer (a local file, not "online")

There, I rasseled around with it until it was small enough not to reject when I'd shoot it to my "profile"----judging from the big white outline, I may have overdone the shrinkage, and now I can't remember how to un-do that... . "so simple a child can operate it!", indeed! MY CHILD'S BUSY, DAMMIT! needs to be so simple a dad can operate it..... nuffathat!



I used the "uplink" choice, not the www. choice when I submitted it.



I was "off" all day yesterday (8Jun2K1), and the truck was gone, too? ---if i was a real cyberwhiz, i could probably make it do a sound file that goes, *cumminsclatter in background* accompanied by a voice that says "rich is here" --but i'm not, so you don't have to worry about that.

Rich, I think you got the picture! Ahh, that is, really, you have the picture. As previously posted by danandme, we only see a place holder (looks like a page with a torn corner)where the pic should be.



The real question is do others see it when your on line or only you? We can only guess that it's here when you are, since you see it when you're on line.

It should show all the time, not jsut when a person is online. So anyone viewing it will see it..... "I think"... I could be wrong.
