Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Isspro EGT Gauge Trouble

Just finished a few upgrades on my truck, now my egt gauge won't work. I thought it was the connections on the probe end so i removed the nut/bolt design and replaced with crimp connectors... didn't work. . check the other end of the extension wires. . found a bad nut/bolt connector. . replaced it, cleaned the connectors, reinstalled... . still doesn't work... worked fine last week... what do you guys think i should check next. Didn't think adding the crimp connectors would mess up anything... . what gives???

every now and then mine will drop out and come back, i go out and play with the probe end connections and it's solid again, nothing ever gets loose but it's obviously a connection problem, so it seems to be a little picky about the connections, fresh crimp connectors should work fine but...

I don't know anything about ISSPRO but my Westach probe failed one time and had to be replaced. I now keep a spare probe available in case of another failure.

The gauge could also be a problem but more likely the probe.
