I saw two hound dogs with jumper cables trying to get a rabbit started.

I saw a dog frozen to a fire hydrant.

I saw the sidewalk reach out and pull the dead grass over it :p

Honestly I saw 72 below in Wyo back in like 82 and that was not the chill factor either, I spent 16 hours that day on a Coca-Cola route and didnt freeze one can or bottle!!!

cheers, Kevin

Well, that went over like a fart in Church. :rolleyes:

Click on the link.

It's not a big deal for those of you that see -60 all the time, but the bay dont freeze over but only once every 5 or 10 years.

Theres a few more in my photo album.

They were taken today in Toms River, by the Mathis bridge.

Damn!!!!!!! :D :-laf It was so cold here that my truck actually smoked blue when starting it up... . in the afternoon. That is a rarified thing in the swampland. At least this swampland.

Coldest I ever personally experienced was -15 in Alexandria, Virginia in 1981. Broke the window handle on my Ford Ltd as I grabbed it while breaking my ass cause I slipped on ice. :eek: :{

It was -7* this morning when I started my truck, and I don't have anywhere to plug her in down here at college. She didn't like it very much. :rolleyes:

It was soooo cold here last night (-15 actual) that when I was installing new shocks on my truck in the garage (door partially open) that my creeper FROZE to the floor!! And that with a 150,000 btu torpedo heater running! Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Steve, I hate it when that happens. Thats why I keep the plow equipment shop heated to about 65 this time of year. Dry floor and warm wrenches help me keep my sanity in the snowplowing business.

Well there's no doubt, y'all know about cold. But I'll tell ya' the truth- house down the road caught fire last weekend, bad one, flames shootin' out every window. Well, I been drivin' past this same house every day this week, and every day I see it's burning just the same! Stopped today to check it out- dangdest thing I ever saw! I walked right up to the house, I stuck out my hand and reached for the flame and it was cool to the touch! I grabbed it and it broke off right in my hand! I took the broken piece of frozen fire home, threw it into the fireplace on some wood, and in seconds I had a toasty fire going. Daggone, that's cold!

Hey klenger, I have a brother who lives there in Tucson. He doesn't know jack about trucks or diesels, but MAN does he like to let me know how the weather is! Of course, it never has been 115 in the shade here in Pittsburgh! Thanks for mentioning the 63 degrees..... I almost forgot the thermometer went that high.

Boston Harbor has it good..

and so does Salem. Gets a little more frozen every time I see it. Glad I am working in Atlanta this week. . Was a balmy 32 when I arrived. . Too bad my truck was sitting around below 0 all week. Hope the block heater timer was working :eek:

I can't even leave a 12 pack of beer outside for more than an hour, poor things freeze... its alcohol abuse.
