Don't know if it was true of what I heard, but there was supposedly a girl with long hair that got it caught on a PTO shaft. Scalped her.

About 30 years it happened up here. Long hair got twisted in the unload auger shaft while shoveling grain in the truck box.

A couple years ago at work, a gal got her hair caught in a pneumatic drill motor. Tore out a big clump.

I used to work for Square D. A guy told me his most chilling event was going to an underground dirt floor electric vault. As he was climbing down they were bringing up a guy that wasn't moving. Still alive the others said. He made a bad decision to relieve himself while standing on a substation tie bus rack and the stream drifted into live bars.

Another coworker was on a docked Navy tender. Anyone caught with jewelry of any kind stayed on ship that night.

Guess he never had anyone trick him into peeing on an electric fence.

When it comes to big power, you even have to watch your coworkers. The particulars escape me now but one incident that happened when I was doing the semi work killed the man who was doing something with 12kv. I don't know if his backup got arced too or if he tried to help the other man but he suffered severe burns.
