Its kind of slow to spool but when it spools it spools hard, egts at 1400 deg with wide open throttle at 100mph, always used to burry the guage at 1600 long before that with a jammer. lots of fun to drive
what size exhaust housing?... could you give a little more detail on the spooability ... i. e. - what rpm it starts to boost hard? Do you have an external or internal wastegate?
Thanks Jim,Doug at ADT is working on an edm type for me now. By the way Doug thanks for the oringing job on the head shes holding up great. I used a stock hg to try keep the bottom end there, backing the timing will defiantly help but i like the sound of the motor and the topend charge shes has now.
Inducer size ? That's what makes J. R. 's '55's work so well. It took alot of testing, and a little bit more money to get the inducer size, to match up with everything else. We've tried several times to just change wheel sizes, and we've experimented with some crazy stuff, but the 3 '55's we offer right now are the best running turbo's we've got.
I thought JR said there are four versions? I will be trying one out come January or so. Just bought an SBC DD and am going to get JR to install it next month . Building the drivetrain first .

EDM's should help that out because of the spray angle change.
