That's a 23um multi-pass filter, it's going to look clean as it's just a rock catcher in a CR system.
That filter has 309 sq in of media, my initial filter has 509 sq in of media. That is why it looks like there is more room between the media, the ridges are deeper to have more filtering surface (which in necessary on a single pass rating). /\/\/\/\/\/\ vs ^^^^^^^ The are between the surface media is the aqua-zorb materiel correct?
Again not doubting that the Zinga works well, but for contaminates it just doesn't have the ratings or specs... as a f/w separator well there is nothing that can touch it. What's nice about your life on that filter is that you didn't even find 7. 6 oz of water in those 14 months (only 2200 gallons pumped? or was that 2200 burned?)
But you really can't make comments about needing to STOP contaminates, not filter them when your filters aren't even designed for that in a single pass.
