Bob; I would like to try out the beta software on my truck. I sent an email earlier but assume it was overlooked in the big rush before Thanksgiving. <!-- google_ad_section_end --><!-- google_ad_section_end --><!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

Hey Bob! Same here... could you send the latest beta to enafzige@yahoo.com? Not trying to wear you out, just getting anxious!

Thanks, Eric

Hey Bob, Can you send me the beta also? Thanks

I just got the smarty a couple weeks ago and love it!

Very Quiet and Rattle-Free at Normal Cruising Speeds!

I used the new Beta for the first time during my normal commute with my truck. I was able to listen to the sound of the motor more without my 2 five year-olds along! I am very impressed with how smooth the truck runs at my normal cruising speed of about 60mph! I am running the Beta on level 3. I would say that under my normal driving conditions the rattle that was present with the original Smarty software is reduced by at least 75% (probably 90% most of the time but a little more rattle under light accellaration--maybe only a 50% reduction). At idle the motor is much quieter... I would say even quieter than the truck was stock! Although I've always loved the Smarty since I got it, I was a little less happy with the louder and rattling sound the motor had. The new Beta seems to almost completely eliminate those concerns. Now if it works as well for towing my travel trailer and the fuel economy is at least as good as previous software I will be a completely satisfied customer. Todd Schwantes.

Smooooth beta

I loaded up the beta tonight on SW 3. Truck idles and runs much quieter and seems to cruise smoother. Power is very controllable and even when you get on it hard the smoke is just a light puff or haze instead of the BIG black cloud that this used to produce. Very nice software. I will continue to run it this week and maybe try some more levels. Transmission shifts nice and smooth also. :)

Thank's Bob and Marco!

I have noticed that the rail pressure is a lot smoother. My rail pressure gauge does not jump all over the place while cruising.

Hey Bob,

I emailed before thanksgiving holiday and maybe it was over looked because you were so busy helping others. May I have a go with the new beta? PLEASE!!!

Neil

I know that you guys are talking about the smarty, but I just tried the bully triple dog and really am liking it. With the 6sp and not really taking it off the lowest setting 50-60hp/140tq, will the stock clutch be able to handle it, if I don't abuse it? Also it's still under warranty, I am getting really no real answers to whether dodge can or cannot tell if changes to the ECU have been messed with. This isn't going to be a dragger, I don't have any plans to take it over 400hp. I've been a TDR member for about a 1. 5 yrs, but new to the site. I have a 05 5. 9, G56, QC, SB Bright yellow only 18 like mine made. any help would be appreciated.

Bob, would you send that new beta my way also for my S-04 smarty 2005 Ram

As long as you don't abuse it, your clutch should be good for a while. If you want to keep your warranty, don't run it. Dodge can find it very easily.

Is the Samrty Jr. the same as the regular Smarty but with limited power options? Does it do the same thing as the regular Smarty on the same power levels? I'd love a Smarty but I don't need/want the higher levels.

I too am interested in the Smarty Jr as I do not need the higher power settings. On the web site it does not say if the Jr changes timing?Like to know if these are mileage settings?
