I don't remember the part#, is this the drop in filter? If so I have one, been running it for about 4 years now. It's ok. Also read quite a few posts that say they don't filter all that well. Looking to go to something else soon. Like the AFE pro guard.

No, this one is the big cone filter that clamps on to your air intake hose coming from your turbo, it sits on the fender.

I used one for about 10K miles and did not like the filtration it provided. I change to an BHAF and the filtration got much better. I verified my results by looking at the resutls from my oil samples. The silicone reading while using the K&N where twice to three times as much as when running the BHAF.

In case you are wondering a BHAF is a big fleetguard filter that sits in the same place as the K&N. Do a search for BHAF for more info.

where yoou using the precleaner wrap or just the filter? I wouldn't mind changing filters but I like the turbo noise and it's nice & loud with the K&N.

Yes I was using the red prefilter on the K&N. The noise I have with the BHAF is about the same or a little more than I had with the K&N.

I would take a few oil samples and make sure your silicone numbers are not trending up or too high.
