I did figure the market. You already had the KORE system, thus are not in the market for another tower... ?
I'm in the market for a suspension system.
My challenge is garage clearance. And since I live in a condo, there is not other place to park, so I have what I have (I did "relocate" a 10' section of a wall about 2' to accommodate the length :-laf ). I have 1" of space above the Snug Top shell. Considering I now have stock tires, I'd like to save that space for when I get 285 tires, so I need to keep the rear ride height stock. I haven't measured at the cab, but with the subroof tilted up, I have about an inch above the sunroof, which means about 2" of total clearance with it closed. This MAY give me 2-2. 5" of lift potential in the front (though not considering the tires).
So my challenge is finding a system that will fit my limits. I PM'd one suspension vendor with these concerns, but I never got a response, so I'm open to any advice on what I can do. I do drive to baja, and understand the value of a good system.
On a side note, I was at the Baja 1000 chasing for a couple vehicles, and we were driving a 2000 2nd gen with a V10. The truck only had about 80k miles, much from driving in Baja. But even with so few miles, the truck was hammered from driving there with the stock suspension. That was the loosest late 2nd gen I'd been in (my early 2nd gen was actually looser with even fewer miles, but my later 2nd gen has stayed somewhat tight for the miles it's seen - the later ones stay tighter longer). I'd like to preserve the life of this truck a bit longer - especially with the Snug Top shell.
