They programmed the truck to Kents liking. Then they installed an intercooler, Big Hoss Intake Ram, Big Head turbo wastegate, and custom made 4" exhaust. They dynoed the truck over and over and set it not to defuel at all before 1250*.

I thought it only had an off-the-shelf 'Six Gun'?

I'm not knocking anything, but wanted to comment because I was not surprised to see that it wasn't just bolt-on and go type of modifications... there is LOTS of tuning involved with this type of endurance racing.

Well done, gents!

Holeshot,

I must have missed your last post. Kent had them tune it down a bit. It is an off the shelf box and speedloader. He wanted to be sure there was no egt issue no matter what. Plus what Banks learns from racing will make it to production if it is better.

Greg,

Like I said - I'm not knocking what Banks did or what KORE did. To be able to bolt anything on and call it good for this type of racing is a pipe dream.

What the various folks that got involved with this truck were able to do is astounding and deserves all kinds of accolade.

MAn I wish I lived close to greg and Kent. This kinda stuff is my dream!

there is supposedly a race coming to New mexico, going from albuquerque to mexico. supposed to be 600 miles. maybe I can get my kore susp by then and race! hopefully, my wanna-be desert race mitsu has almost 200K on it and is having little problems pop up everywhere! I guess thats what jumping an import 56 feet will get ya... .
