Kore's HD 2" coil springs just arrived. Man these things are heavy. Ups man must hate me know. Installing this weekend. They are marked for drivers and passengers side. Front end shouldn't drop now when 850lb snowplow is raised. Anyone looking for 2" lift blocks that will make a good paper weight? Spend the extra money and get the springs. . 02

I didn't know this when I installed mine. Had to do it twice. :-laf

Don't forget about the alignment and lots of positive caster. :) You'll be amazed at the ride.

Had the Pace system installed by Carli Suspensions. General overall ride is much better although it didn't smooth out the freeway expansion joints as much as I had hoped it would, but it is an improvement.

Same question?

Tough question to answer as not every truck is the same. You need to "lengthen" your lower links buy turning the eccentric cam bolts. I suggest taking them half way between the factor setting and max. Before you move anything, make permanant marks at the original settings.

Also be sure to torque all of the link bolts and the trac bar bolts. They aren't tight enough from the factory in many cases and you could get popping or cracking when things shift around under extreme braking or turns. This goes for all trucks, not just modded ones.

How much positive caster?

Everything I have heard/read stated that you need at least 5 degrees positive caster. Having said that, after I put my coils on, I went to the alignment shop and my caster was still within spec. One side was 5* and the other was 5. 1*. Toe was a little out of spec, and I suspect it was that way from the factory, as I had some uneven wear with the 315s before the KORE coils. I run my 315s at max pressure up front (50 psi) and I have never had any DW whatsoever. :)

Kore springs are in. Takes about 1 hour. First impression is, truck is on the stiff side. Not what I was hopping for. I did get the HD springs for the plow. Frontend is 1" higher than when I had the 2" lift blocks. Next are 315 mt
